Our Response To COVID-19
As a company, we are closely monitoring the impact of COVID-19, which has now infected more than 292,142 globally (38 cases – 2 discharged & 1 death confirmed in Nigeria). In addition to those who are affected by the illness, many more are indirectly dealing with changes at work, school, and their community.
Governments all over the world along with Medical Experts and Health Officials have requested all citizens, to respect ‘social distancing’, as one of the precautionary measures to stem the spread of the infection. Kizomba is a close-contact dance; as a result, it’s considered a high-risk activity to be practiced during this difficult time.
Here are the actions Kizomba Nigeria has taken in joining the campaign to fight the spread of the corona virus while supporting members, attendees, and employees during this difficult time.
- Postponement of all General classes.
- Suspending all Workshops, Private, Group & Corporate session.
- Extension of ALL active memberships & un-used single-access pass
- Activating Remote Work (Work-From-Home) for ALL employees (except critical operations)
Whilst we cannot claim to be unaffected by this development, we are consoled by the prompt institutional response on cases of infection recorded so far
We urge you to practice the highest global safety & hygiene standard during this difficult time and beyond. We need to be infection- free, and healthy to survive this pandemic.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us for further information
Stay Safe!
Best Regards,
George Nnanwubar
CEO, Kizomba Nigeria Limited
